Hans Kristiansson Memorial Fund
Purpose: Support for the organisation of symposia in Animal Ecology. When deciding on the award of grants, Hans Kristiansson’s research interests are to be taken into account. The symposia are to be named the Hans Kristiansson Symposium and be held in Lund every 1–4 years.
Amount: SEK 192 000
The award decision will be made by a special board.
Application
Applications for research grants from the foundation are to be made via the Lund University application system for scholarships and grants.
Disbursement
Disbursement to persons employed at Lund University/other higher education institution will be made to the applicant’s department. Where applicable, the application is to include the department’s overhead costs. It is appropriate to include these under the heading ‘other costs’. In such cases, the costs stated in the application are to exclude VAT.
In cases where, in accordance with the statutes of the foundation, grants can be awarded to organisations outside Lund University /other higher education institution or to students directly, the disbursement will be made to a personal bank account or equivalent. In such cases, the costs stated in the application are to include VAT.
