Guest lecturer
Description of the call
Barncancerfonden calls for proposals for the invitation of prominent international guest lecturers. The lecture should be public and address a topic of large significance for children oncology.
Eligible to apply
Eligible to apply are e.g. medical doctors, researchers, counselors, psychologists and nurses. The applicant should be active in the field of childhood cancer.
Approved costs
Grants for guest lecturers are generally intended to fully or partly cover the lecturer’s fee, venue costs, return low-price tickets, hotel costs and return transfer costs for the lecturer. A maximum of 20 000 SEK may be allocated for a guest lecturer.
Administration
The grant is to be administered by a Swedish university or institute, alternatively another Swedish organization with research as its main purpose in collaboration with a university or institute.
A specified requisition is sent to Barncancerfonden after the lecture.
Reporting
A report should be submitted via the application system after the lecture. Reporting is mandatory and the grant will not be disbursed if the report is not submitted.

Confirmation of the application
The application must be confirmed by the main applicant and the head of department, director or equivalent in order to be valid. The main applicant confirms the application in connection to submission. Note that this must be done before the closure of the call. The day after the call has closed, an email with a request to confirm the application is sent to the head of department, director or equivalent you have stated in the application. Confirmation must be done no later than 7 days after the call has closed.
Application period
Refer to the web page of Barncancerfonden. Note that the call closes at 14:00 the last day for application. Applications cannot be submitted after the closure of the call.
